What’s your go-to Halloween costume?

Do you go scary in honor of the Spooky Season? Book or movie character? Pun? Just a sweatshirt and an old Target sack? (Looking at you, teens who don’t want to dress up but do want to trick-or-treat—and go for it, we say.)

Well, don’t ask us how we got there, but in doing some late-night googling we accidentally fell down a rabbit hole of health-care-related costumes and we. Were. Delighted. We had to share our favorites.

Even though, come to think of it, the white coat is already a pretty effective costume, if your intention is to make people’s blood pressure go up

Which, we promise, ours is not.

It takes a very steady hand …

This one is easy to DIY—just a sweatsuit, some marker skills and a clown nose—but this store-bought version has the added benefit of being completely terrifying.

Wardrobe malfunction

We’ve been accused of making those hospital gowns too small on purpose. This one comes with a plastic butt so your real one stays hidden from prying eyes … and roving health-care providers.

But seriously, why?

Those things are so long, we doubt you would actually have to buy this. DIY all the way!

Keep it classy

Yes to Florence Nightingale, no to sexy nurse.

Give it a shot!

This one works on a lot of levels—scary (to some people), hilarious (to us) and a reminder (to all) to get your flu shot!

And finally, how many more people do you think we could we get in for physicals if we hired this very good boy?

Taking that under advisement. Happy Halloween, everybody!
