Nicholas Berlon, M.D.
Dr. Nick Berlon is a board-certified internist who combines a thoughtful, problem-solving mindset with a calm, attentive approach to patient care. With a strong academic background and experience treating patients in both urban and remote settings, he brings clinical excellence and genuine curiosity to every interaction.
Originally from Georgia, Dr. Berlon earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University before attending medical school at Duke University. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Washington, where he developed a particular interest in preventive care, chronic disease management, and helping patients navigate complex health challenges. Before coming to Muncie, Dr. Berlon practiced internal medicine on Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula, serving a diverse population and honing his ability to adapt care to meet individual needs.
Dr. Berlon is detail-oriented and analytical, with a natural inclination toward solving complex problems—qualities that serve his patients well in navigating their health. He is committed to building long-term relationships and creating a space where patients feel comfortable and supported in their care decisions.
Outside of work, Dr. Berlon enjoys board game nights, travel, and tackling escape rooms—especially ones that challenge his strategic thinking. Though naturally more introverted, he enjoys deep conversations and quiet evenings at home with his girlfriend (a Ball State graduate) and their two cats. He has traveled extensively and loves learning about new cultures and perspectives along the way.
