Keeping your records private and secure

Medical records are the property of the provider, and we are required by law to keep the original records. The federal law known as HIPAA governs protected health information.

If you leave our care, we will make copies of your record for you and your new provider at no charge. When an insurance company, government agency or attorney requests copies of your record, there will be a copying fee.
